Have you ever wanted to ask the question, “is God in everything?”  This thought could most likely come when we are facing major difficulties and are struggling with our circumstances.  I’m Doug Van Dyke with the NMJM, Good News Media and WLJN/WLJW and I have found great encouragement from asking myself this question because it always leads me back to who God is and his sovereignty.  A simple way of putting this is that God is the supreme authority, creator, and ruler of the universe and as such He is in control.

Several years ago when I was facing a major crises in my own life, I was reminded of this by my then nineteen year old daughter when she quoted the words from scripture found in Job 42:2….”I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.”

When we see God is in everything we can know an abiding experience of abandonment and perfect trust that leads to His peace in the midst of life’s storms.
